Summer Church Opening

St. Mary's Church is open to visitors every Saturday from 10am to 4pm from 28th April to October (providing a steward is able to be present).

St. Mary's Church

Whilst this is an obligation in return for grants received from English Heritage, it provides an opportunity for local residents and casual passers-by to come in to view the ancient structure or merely sit for a time of quietness or contemplation.

During the summer months we are holding Coffee Mornings to raise funds for the flowers for the August Bank Holiday Flower Festival.

The dates and times are:

Saturday 12th May 10am to 12 noon
Saturday 9th June 10am to 12 noon
Saturday 7th July 10am to 12 noon
Saturday 11th August 10am to 12 noon

Cakes and jams will also be on sale.  Donations of cakes to cut up or sell whole on these occasions
will be very welcome. Please contact either Audrey Pegrum, telephone 01268 710757 or Beryl Clements, telephone 01245 601298.
