Ramsden Bellhouse is a civil parish and village in South-East Essex, England.
It is located between the towns of Wickford and Billericay in the district of Basildon and is within the parliamentary
constituency of Billericay. It is located approximately 13 km (8 miles) south of the city of Chelmsford.
The village is close to the Essex Wildlife Trust managed Hanningfield Reservoir, and the neighbouring villages of Downham and Ramsden Heath.
The River Crouch flows through the village, crossing Church Road underground. It has a population of about 750. There are two churches (Anglican and Baptist), one convenience store with an in-house Post Office, an Estate Agents and a Village Hall. Just outside the village there is also one pub (The Fox & Hounds). The village has a thriving community which is administered by the Village Hall Management Committee. The village hall contains two halls and kitchen facilities, and is available for hire.
